About Prism International

We are a private recovery and coaching agency specializing in LGBTQ+ care. We provide discreet, highly personalized sober coaching and companioning with integrated mental-health and personal-growth support.

With senior coaches across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, we work in residence, at home, and on location. We limit caseloads to preserve attention, privacy, and ease—and while we specialize in LGBTQ+ care, we also support individuals of any background for whom our approach is the right fit.

Prism coaches pair rigorous professional training with lived experience. As LGBTQ+ practitioners, we bring an affirming, trans-inclusive, intersectional lens and collaborate seamlessly with each client’s clinical providers where appropriate, under rigorous confidentiality.

Services include intervention & placement, care-team liaison, family coaching, academics/career, experiential recovery & life skills, long-term planning, and on-location support. [View Services]

The outcome is meaningful progress—sustainable change, repaired trust, and a steadier life—so clients return to their lives with clarity and momentum.

Liana Reid

Founder + Principal

Liana is a recovery professional with nearly four decades of sobriety and 25+ years in practice. Trained by renowned interventionist Earl Hightower, her approach was shaped by early work with the Musicians Assistance Program (MAP). She has guided LGBTQ+ clients, high-profile individuals, and families through interventions, discreet in-residence support, and sustained aftercare—always with privacy at the center.

Her work spans sober companionship; transport and supervision for dual-diagnosis cases; life-skills and grief coaching; and close liaison with clinical teams to maintain continuity of care. Liana also founded Upcycled Life, a New York–based nonprofit providing sober housing and peer support for trans people, bringing a trans-inclusive, community-first lens to every engagement.

At Prism, Liana focuses on crisis-to-stability planning, family and care-team liaison, and designing privacy-first routines that hold in real life. She co-founded Prism to meet the gap in LGBTQ+-specific concierge recovery services—building an agency where dignity, discretion, and cultural competence are non-negotiable.
