About Prism International
We are a private recovery and aftercare agency exclusively for LGBTQ+ clients, providing discreet, highly personalized, on-location sober companionship and coaching with integrated, non-clinical mental-health support.
Operating globally, with senior coaches across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, we intentionally limit our active caseload to protect attention, privacy, and ease. We primarily support adults and young adults; for adolescents, services are coordinated with families and clinical teams when appropriate.
Our team combines rigorous professional training with lived experience as LGBTQ+ individuals. We work through an affirming, trans-inclusive, intersectional lens and, when requested, collaborate with each client’s clinical providers under strict confidentiality protocols.
Our scope includes intervention and treatment placement; care-team liaison and family/parent coaching; academics and career coordination; experiential recovery and life skills; long-term recovery planning; and on-location support.
The goal is meaningful progress: sustainable change, repaired trust, and greater stability so clients can return to their lives with clarity and control.
Liana Reid
Founder + Principal
Liana is an interior designer and long-time recovery professional with nearly four decades of sobriety. She has supported LGBTQ+ clients, celebrities, and high-net-worth families through interventions, discreet in-residence support, and sustained aftercare—always with confidentiality at the center. She founded Upcycled Life, a New York–based nonprofit providing sober housing and peer support for trans people, and brings that identity-competent, community-first lens to every engagement.
At Prism, Liana focuses on crisis-to-stability planning, family and care-team coordination, and designing privacy-first routines that hold in real life. She co-founded Prism in response to the lack of LGBTQ+-specific concierge recovery services, building an agency where dignity, discretion, and cultural competence are non-negotiable.

Waleed Khairzada
Co-Founder
Waleed is a New York State–licensed recovery coach whose work spans sober companionship, non-clinical mental-health support, and transformational coaching for clients across backgrounds.
An award-winning creative director with two decades of executive leadership, he brings sharp judgment under pressure—aligning stakeholders, stabilizing routines, and coordinating logistics and aftercare with discretion. A gay man and trauma survivor, he brings a calm, non-judgmental presence, clear boundaries, and strict confidentiality, collaborating with clinical providers, family offices, and legal or talent teams.
At Prism, he leads crisis-to-stability planning, identity-competent matching, in-residence/travel support, return-to-work transitions, and family liaison—so clients return to their lives with clarity and control.
